Improvisation workshop, London 2007
Improvisation game
Description: Establishing and building upon the scene's location.
Set-up: Three to ten players going on stage one after the other.
Instructions: One player goes on stage and starts an action defining the location she's in. As soon as another player has an idea of what the location is, she joins the first player on stage and re-enforces the sense of place by any non-verbal mean. Other players join the scene as see fit, following the same rule. The game ends when all the players are on stage and/or a first sentence is spoken.
