Improvisation workshop, London 2007
Improvisation game
Description: Defining a scene's period and time of day.
Set-up: Three players and more going on stage one after the other.
Instructions: One player goes on stage and starts an action defining one or all of the following: the scene's time period, the time of day, the location she's in and her character's status in that environment. As soon as another player has an idea of the location and some or all of the other elements, she joins the first player on stage. Together, they build upon the defined elements including their characters' pecking orders. The other players join in the scene if and when needed. The game ends when the players have found an ending.
